Art

We are creating a trilogy of engagement-centered performances that challenge our national narrative about housing and influence policy. Since 2019, we’ve produced and planned groundbreaking art projects and hosted hundreds of conversations and engagement workshops. We’ve also trained advocates and artists to create more imaginative and equitable policy outcomes. Our vision is that by 2029 communities around the US will be equipped with art-based ways to make change.

Project:

The Most Beautiful Home… Maybe

Currently available for touring, training, and professional development opportunities for folks working in housing departments and associations, city councils, housing activists and anyone working to make a difference in this field.

It is a nerdy and raucous vision for guaranteed housing. This participatory performance juxtaposes housing data, Lyndon Johnson, torch songs, and stories of Americans facing home insecurity. The show asks audiences to create housing policies collectively and envision a future where everyone has a home.
